And guys like, Tony M, Cotto, Joe C still have a lot to prove lol at Joe he's been around as long as alot of guys and he just aint done **** for me to be considered a ATG, now he maybe HOfer worthy cuz of his status as champ, but not his staus as far as a resume!

And Tony M is defintely not Hofer worthy if he retired today... Floyd is Pac-man aint, Joe C would get in, JLC maybe, if Corrales was alive he wouldnt.. Hatton wouldnt, Mosely would, both Marquez wouldnt, maybe the one who fought Pac... Taylor wouldnt, Im on the fence with the Klit bros. there aint a current cruiser who'd get in.. Tarver aint no HOFer

WTF has Margarito done to be in the hall of fame?

You trippin that man has only 1 count it 1 high profile notable win. Margarito as of right now shouldn't even get on the ballot for it to be discussed for him to get in the hall of fame.

I am not saying Margarito can't go on to accomplish the things to get himself into the hall of fame because its possible.

Not a Marg fan but he beat, Cotto, Clottey, and lost a close one to Williams and is a multi time champion.

And with the way the HOF is now he has an excellent shot cuz they'll argue that he never ducks anyone and he himself was ducked

The bold is not a who's who list in boxing. None of those fighters are considered great. Those are good names as of right now but none of those fighters has done anything themselves to be in the hall of fame.

Getting in to the hall of fame is still a tough nut to crack. Also voting isn't based on who people might have thought ducked you. So

I'm sorry if Margarito retired right now there is no way he would make the hall of fame. I would love to see someone make a legit case for him to be there.

i think floyd could crack the top 10 because he beat four future HOFers(digeo corrales ,jose luis castillo, autro gatti and oscar de la hoya) he won six different belts and five different weights classes all while undefeated he also has one of the the greatest defences in boxing history. has been named boxer of the year two times (1998 and 2007) and was number 1 p4p for 4 years if thats not a ATG resume then what is

I'm definately not making the case for him to be in right now but as of right now those he beat ARE the whos who of the division and a good foundation for him getting into the hall of fame.

Also, even tho he won by the skin of his teeth, Margarito beat, Golden Johnson, GOLDEN ****IN 24 KARAT JOHNSON, can Ray Leonard do that?
