i've been a fan of tarver's since his verbal dissection of roy jones the night of his win over ruiz at the post fight conference; i thought that move was the most strategic move in boxing in the past couple of years and only a smart man could have pulled it off

tarver's a thinking, educated man - and his smack talk dwarfs all others IMO.

it's just a bad idea to get into a war of words with the guy, he verbally sodomizes you to no end.

He's grown on me slightly as a person too. I still think he's overrated. Clinton Woods didnt show up.

Yet he still has a great chance to get his ass kicked all fight and land a big punch to win.

grown on me the last few years. i used to hate the guy, but i now like him. he's a funny bastard in some of the interviews, and his skill is underrated imo. he's a fine boxer, and i have not given him enough props in the past. not sure he can beat chad at this point, but i think it will be a great fight he CAN win. your thoughts on him?

Only things I don't like about him are his unpredictability (on any given night, he's capable of beating the best in the world, or losing to the most mediocre in the world), and his huge, loud ****ing mouth. Other than that, he's the ****. He's got everything he needs to be the best in the world, he just doesn't always bring his A game.
