Haye will be very tentative in the first few rounds and will find himself behind on the scorecard early on. Once he has found his feet I expect him to catch Barrett with a few big shots and give his chin a work out. I wouldn't be suprised to see this fight ending with an absolutely brutal KO.

Haye by KO in the 6th.

It's gonna be real interesting to see what Haye weighs in at. Truthfully, he doesn't have to be higher than 215 and he shouldn't compromise his speed because, regardless of whether or not he can take a punch up there, he won't want to take too many. No heavyweight can.

I think Haye should take it and I hope he does. THe HW division would be better off with an exciting guy like Haye doing well in it.

Was thinking the same thing when I read his post, and you beat me to the reply. Gotta love those deep thinkers, eh?

I think Haye has picked himself a live underdog in this one. If Barrett can catch him, I think he can stop him fairly easy. Honestly, I have to give Haye credit for choosing Barrett for his next opponent. Should be a good fight, with a stoppage ending. If Haye wins, it'll be in early rounds, by TKO stoppage. If it goes past the 5th or 6th, I think Haye gets caught and stopped. He doesn't seem to have the best conditioning.

Yeah, seriously. It's been a while since I've seen Monte so I don't know how far he's slipped. But I've seen Kevin Johnson countless times and I had no problems picking Haye to win easy. This...I don't know.

Regardless, I'll go with Haye. This is Haye's most important fight to date. If he thought he would lose, he wouldn't have taken it. Like him or not, he isn't ******. On the contrary, he's actually a pretty smart guy who knows exactly what he's doing.

For this fight, David Haye has to make a serious statement if he wants to keep his career in tact. And he will. the guy is driven and passionate about what he does.

I predict a Haye KO, possibly early on, but maybe somewhere near the middle rounds.

For the record, Lennox Lewis thinks he'd have trouble with the K brothers and needs more time to develop as a heavyweight . On the other hand, Lennox also picked Sam Peter to beat Vitali, so even the pro's / ex-pro's have no real idea how things will go and often make seriously inaccurate predictions.
Lately, there hasn't been a fight where Lewis picked Vitali, making it 4 wrong predictions in Vitali's four last fights. Besides, how did his prediction relate to his hologram prophecy then?

I pick Barrett to beat Haye. Barrett is going to knock that pretty boy (Haye) out.
