If it's so totally irrelevant than that should make the Rahman fight against Lewis irrelevant as Lewis brutally knocked him out in the rematch. No? It's gotta go both ways mate. At least Lewis made the rematch immediately and knocked him out after completely outclassing him. Rahman, unlike Puritty, was actually a decent heavyweight champ as well. What has Purity ever done?

witherspoon's camp protested after the fight. after that mercer went on a string of wins and wlad was the only one to beat him after lewis did when he was still good. it doesn't take away the fact that wlad was the first to stop him which is impressive.

Wlad has better defense than Lewis....he would never get caught with those blind looping shots from Rahman and McCall.

wlad fights like a little ***** behind his robotic guard and stiff jab, he hardly gets caught because he barely presses the action, any jackass can shell up and not get hit


he isnt even a smart defensive guy like toney or floyd hes just scared of getting hit and Ko'd again, if lennox had wanted too im sure he could have fought scared after losing to mccall and hasim

i'd say a guy stopped by a bum like purrity would be pretty likely to lose to prime rahman and mccall

Wlad had gone past 6 rounds, he defeated Everett Martin on a 8 round UD!
