Answer me one, for all who predicts a ko. What has given you the indication that a ko will happen? SSM has only been down once in his career and he survived a brutal headbutt/knockdown then. SSM wont be a cake walk.

Mosley looked a bit rusty against Mayorga after nearly a year off in a fight at 154 which he was never that effective at against an opponent who had 10lbs on him. Without the excess weight I think Mosley's stamina will improve because I never considered him a natural junior middleweight.

One thing I don't see is Mosley even coming close to stunning Margarito as he couldn't even hurt Cotto badly and he was landing that right of his at will against Miguel. On the flip side, I also don't see Margarito flooring Shane but I won't rule out a ref or corner stoppage due to accumulation if Mosley runs out of gas mid-way and starts taking too much punishment.

I still consider Mosley at least equal to the majority of top welterweights and probably superior to most. It was a year ago that everyone thought of him as a top 3 fighter at 147. One fight at 154 after a long layoff shouldn't change that.

I hope Mosley wins, but he struggled way too much against albeit a very motivated, in shape and disciplined mayorga...

I think margarito will win, and might even get the KO if mosley tries to brawl with margarito like he did with mayorga.

I really wouldn't write off Mosley. At all. I made a thread about this very fight a while ago. And while the Mayorga fight had definitely put some doubts in my head, I do think the weight and Mayogas unorthodoxy contributed to Shane's sluggishness.

I think Shane has the two things that are necessary against Margs - speed and a great chin. Shane isn't a pure boxer but he's a better boxer than Margs.

But Shane HAS to understand that he isn't able to hurt Margs. That can be sort of demoralising to think before a fight but it's true. There is no point slugging with Margs because he'll beat you down.

I can see a good contest. I dont think Shane's getting knocked out. I favour Margs but I think Mosley can do it.

I wouldnt go that far, Mosley is a rock but when a guy like Marg keeps on chipping away and chipping and chipping and........... like he will with his hurtfull shots up and down the rock might crumble!

didn't u see the mosley/mayorga fight? mosley was slugging way too much... going against margarito like that is a recipe for failure.

is the fight going to be at 147? whens the last time shane fought at 147?
