Vitali: I'd have no chance against Wlad! Interview and training VID!

This is my translation of an interview in kleinezeitung.at via danish website lionheart:

Q: Does your wife look forward to your comeback?
V: (Laughs) I wont talk about that! You know the answer.

    Q: Is she scared?
    V: not scared, but concerned.

How did you convince her of the good idea staging a comeback?
I don't see myself as macho, but in long discussions someone has to have the last word. When it comes to my career I'd like to know what my family thinks but the call is mine. Not my wifes.

Would you allow you son the fight?
If he want's to yes. I dont think he should, but I'd back him if he so chooses.

You gave up your title in 2005?
I had to because of injuries. I did it volontarily, but got the emeritus title so I get a titleshot straight away.

So 2 champions squares off next saturday?
Yes. A passive one and an active. Who's the right one we'll know by oct. 11.

Wlad is IBF and WBO champ. If you become WBC champ will you then face him?
If Wlad beats Valueev I have no other options so perhaps.

    Why hesitate?
Well I dont want to be beaten up. Wlad is to strong. 5 years ago I had a chance. Right now I dont.

I don't want to see them fight each other.
Family shouldn't fight to entertain the public.

...in a way it's sorta like ****** ****ography (but even more sick).

Yeah, I threw up in my mouth a little when I read that.

I think Vitali is being humble, and trying to keep Wlad's opponents frightened of him. I also think he's bull****ting about the possibility of him facing his brother. Neither he, or his brother, strike me as the type to break a promise made to their mother. I just don't see any way it happens.

Yeah, they'll never fight. It would be a spectacle, and the one fight the HW division could make to get back on the mainstream map.

          But it won't happen.

If Vitali's tune-up (Peter) goes well, he would **** Wlad up in 6-8 rounds. It'll never happen though, he's just raising interest to the upcoming fight.

There's nothing wrong with experimenting with your brother.
