After his spectacular demolition of Caesar Figueroa in hardly 47 seconds, Juan Manuel “Juanma” Lopez assures to be preparation for majors challenges.

“In fact nobody wanted to fight. I faced Figueroa because he was the unique one that accepted. He is not something that we are inventing ourselves. At the moment, Lopez will concentrate itself in defending the sceptre while the opportunity is materialized to unify titles against the other champions of the 122 pounds.
“Israel Vázquez is the most viable option. Celestine Caballero (monarch of the World-wide Association of Boxing) and Steve Molitor (champion of the Federation the International of Boxing) is going to unify in November and Vazqúez has in agenda a fight against Jorge Maple, so I do not believe that at the moment a unification becomes. So perhaps for June of the 2009”, Lopez explained.
The champion does not glimpse to raise in the very near future of category, but he has drawn up as he puts to gain world-wide crowns in four different divisions. “I do not have necessity to raise, but since I have said previously, I want to be champion in the 122, 126, 130 and 135 pounds thus to gain four world-wide titles, something that no Puerto Rican has done it and that one will be my history”, commented.
