if it's the last week of intense sparring then it could effect them a bit but if it's just the sparring to hone in on their plan and keep Kelly's legs loose then I wouldnt worry too muchComment

This is going to sound like one of those *******s everybody knows who constantly says "I knew that, I knew that", but in both Taylor fights, I noticed that Pavlik tends to hyperextend his elbows alot when he throws (especially his left, when he jabs....obviously trying to get maximum reach), and when I read the title I assumed that was what had happened....a hyperextension injury, which can take up to a few months to heal. Glad to hear it was just a bruise caused by a **** against another hard object, as that'll be healed within just a few weeks.Comment

well it depends on where they are in sparring. Knowing the date of the fight this is either his last week of intense sparring or the week where they do light sparring where it's more based on movement and strategy then actually punches thrown with conviction. A lot of times trainers will get a smaller quicker fight for their fighter to chase during the latter portion of camp.
