Why do I have a feeling you're making this up? I just don't see Chavez ducking someone, especially a PR boxer.

haahah of course you dont remember because its bull****, this is how rumors start, this years was the "steroids" margarito "took"... take the loss like a man.. Mexico > Puerto Rico when it comes to A-class fighters of each country, not one dimensional fighters like De Leon.

so mijares, montiel and castillo don't fight like mexicans does that make them american?

floyd sr. and roger don't even speak english.

            margarito isn't mexican, he's american.

margarito has the mexican nationality that makes him mexican
i doubt david diaz or vargas can enter mexico without appliying for a visa first

On the outside Margarito is mexican but on the inside he's american...

would a true mexican avenge his loss? yup, but margarito isn't going to fight williams.

would a true mexican take an easier fight for more money rather than take a tougher fight for more glory? hell no, a real mexican fights for the glory of his country.

                  therefore margarito isn't mexican.
