    Petruzelli's punch explained.

This is mixed-martial arts, so Petruzelli did just that to KO Kimbo; deliver a blow taken from a mixture of combat disciplines.

You got the "crane stance" taken from the Karate Kid...(nice movie; wax in, wax off) and from that stance you have two defensive postures, the right arm in cross-arm defensive position typical of boxing and the left hand is gripping the fence which is typical octagon takedown defense. Then, Seth timed Kimbo going in and utilized the "one-inch punch" taken from Bruce Lee's jeet-kune-do, which he delivered by pulling the right hand back a bit and flicking it to Kimbo's chin in a split-second motion utilizing nothing but lower-arm power. Kimbo gets stunned by this shot, falls and is swarmed over, utilizing a martial arts offense developed in the UFC in the late 90's called "ground and pound", which in slowmo showed a connect percentage of 30% which practically gives one the conclusion that Kimbo was hurt more with the jeet-kune-do punch rather than the swinging hard shots delivered after he fell.

The clincher; Seth Petruzelli, runs around the octagon to the chant of Rocky! Rocky! The chant was from a boxing movie, and the art of running around the ring was taken from the Mayweather school of boxing.
