It's hard to imagine it another way unless Vitali comes in really rusty.

Peter will swing wild and pay dearly.

I wouldn't mind seeing Peter win, because I worry Vitali's injuries won't allow him to defend his title, and we'll be stuck in no man's land like we were for a while when he was champ.
If Vitali defeats Peter then retires, it might be interesting to see JC Gomez fight David Haye for the vacant title. Then, Wlad could unify with the winner.

vitali has a bit of go in him, at least more than wlad

i think if peter pulls his rabbit punching **** vitali will fire up and retaliate with a barrage of shots, i dont know if i see him doing anything illegal back though, he seems a clean gentlemanly sort of fighter

i think that will help vitali if peter fouls him, it will stir up some aggression (hopefully controlled) and when vitali goes onto the front foot looking to finish someone we all know what happens

Maskaev was 37 when he outlasted Rahman and won by KO in the 12th round to win the WBC title. I think Vitali's stamina will not be a problem, but the 4 years of inactivity may be. With all the ring rust, will his reflexes be fast enough to avoid Peter's big looping punches to the back of his head?
