It seems like the Calzaghe loss is haunting Kessler but he still has many years left to prove his merit

Pavlik's promoters have matched him briliantly thus far, while Kessler's team has made some strange choices to date.
Hey jreck what's with that sig??????????????????

he squeaked out 2 controversial decisions over hopkins. wow.

calzaghe's win over bernard was more convincing and joe doesn't even get credit for that.

pavlik's resume and kessler's resume is on par with each other. pavlik just gets the edge because he's undefeated.

Taylor beat Hopkins 3 years before Calzaghe did and won clearly IMO not controversial at all. He also beat Hopkins younger and better than the version Calzaghe beat and he didn't get knocked down.

Calzaghe win over Hopkins not controversial it easily could have gone Hopkins way or a draw mayve.

Who esle has Kessler beaten. Edison M >> Bumdine
I don't know about Miranda. He's always been overrated.

Jermain Taylor former undisputed champ, He reign wasn't exactly a great one but he did hold wins whether they where controversial or not over Hopkins and gave wright a tough fight.

I do agree though, Calzaghe's win was more convincing imo than taylors win.

Had Kessler beat Joe i would of given him the vote but he didn't.

I put resume as who has wins over the better fighters.

I put level of competition as who fought the better fighters.

people overrate the quality of 160 fighters over 168 fighters.

168 is a predominantly european division that's why.

the quality of 160 and 168 fighters the last decade or so have been on par with each other. only difference is 160 had americans like hopkins , joppy and holmes and 168 had euros like joe and sven.

hopkins-taylor fights were closer than calzaghe-hopkins.

that's why we differ in opinion. i consider resume as who he fought not who he beat. so i include joe loss in there.

Name me a fighter on Kessler resume that he beat better than Taylor??

Calzaghe - Hopkins was extremely close, of course a Hopkins hater like you wouldn't understand.

Associated Press, Yahoo, and ESPN scored the bout 114-113 for Hopkins.

                    resume is who you fought.

                    not who you beat.

Pavlik has the better resume, but I think Kessler would win a fight.
