Lopez is 5'7 Vasquez is 5'4

That's the difference. Those right and left hooks will destroy Vasquez

Relax bro, don't get you panties in a bunch.

You doubt Juanma can get past Bernabe? Im pretty sure he would, but Juanma isn't fighting Concepcions, he is looking for Vazquez and Marquez fights.
I'm not hating, all I'm saying is he hasn't been tested. Sure he got past Ponce de Leon and who else? Oquendo? Ponce de Leon was champ but he is also acknowledged as he weakest champ in the division during his reign. Why do do think GBP worked to have Boom Boom Bautista fight him? They were pretty sure he'd lose to the Filipino...they didn't count on the fact that Bautista's got crystal chin.

All I'm saying is sure, Juanma is a good boxer, power's there as well as fundamentals...the guy's an olympian for chrissake. I just think he hasn't faced competition that's anywhere near elite level, Ponce de Leon included.

Juanma is showin himself to be a beast since he's come into the limelight, but I'd still pick Izzy as of now. Good fight, but I think Vasquez could do more damage in the 2nd half of the fight and overtake him.

He may of been the weakest champ but he has devestating power and has a good chin. Lopez destroyed him in 1 round.

OK, that's a start.... like I said, it proves Lopez' power and sound fundamentals but it doesn't give us an idea of how he responds to cuts or being hit on a prolonged basis, or fighting long rounds... did Ponce de Leon even manage to land a solid punch? We can't even gauge if Juanma's got solid chin!
