There is no such thing as a 9-9 round unless there is a point deduction. It would be 10-10 if it was really such a crush for the guy who got knocked down other than the knockdown.

    Just an FYI.

Teddy Atlas scored a round 10-10... Darrell Woods knocked down Samuel Miller in the first 15 seconds, and then seriously got throttled within an inch of his life for the rest of the round, so... 10-10.

I do think he can become a one, two, or three time world champion. But he doesn't have the potential or ability to unify. But he will always be a top 5 or top 10 fighter at featherweight.
gamboa went down from an elbow not a punch. i think I'll give the guy a little slack for now.

Gamboa is very exciting and has explosive power. He is good for the sport and gets people talking.Although,I think he comes off like a pampered up & comer who acts like he is entitled to greatness and his ego,and lack of defence may get him into serious trouble as he meets better competition.

You're 100% right, and it was inexcusable for Lampley to say that. He is supposed to be a pro. It's called the "10 point must" system for a reason.

**** yes! Endorsement from Scott is all I ever need to know I'm right.

Did you see that Woods-Miller fight? That was a beast of a fight between two lower echelon guys.

Ok if your gnna say it wasnt an elbow then your ******ed because when you see the replay its clear as water #2 d only other knockdown hes had (yes im not counting the first because that didn't even involve a punch jst a ******ed ref that didnt see a clear trip) he was caught of balance because of hes agresive nature this is goin to happen more in the future and with experience comes improvement and dont say hes not gonna get better because hes had ****load of amateur fights you ever seen an olympic match?? big fluffy gloves and head protection once he realizes he can get hes head ripped off by a punch he will adjust for that hes going to need better competition of course sum good power punches will make him listen to hes trainer some more. Now have u ever seen this guy hurt? me neither when have you even seen him even taking a full count? or a second for that matter lol when you see that then lets discuss hes chin . Hes a world champion and maybe more in the making who knows could be a fallen hero to be realistic hes seemingly arrogant style could be hes ticket to glory and hes doom but this guy and the top have nothing to come between them at the moment.

                      gamboa is very, very good

he needs to make sure he is alert at all times though, as he an offensive fighter with questionable defence and a questionable chin (although im fairly sure hes one of those guys that get caught cold or off balance and can get up unhurt and keep fighting, tito and danny lopez come to mind)
