De La Hoya vs Pacquiao Huge Turnout in San Francisco

Oscar de la Hoya and Manny Pacquiao had a HUGE turnout today in San Francisco. There was a constant "Oscar, Oscar!" chant the whole press conference. Alot of Phillipinos and Mexicans turned out to support each fighter.. I myself met and talked to Nacho Barenstein, Richard Schaefer, Bob Arum, Joel de la Hoya, Jaime Quintana, Freddy Roach, ofcourse it was very difficult to get to either of the fighters, Manny left right after the conference ended and Oscar stuck around for a while and signed some autographs for the fans and press that were bombarding him..all in all a GREAT turnout and love him or hate him, Oscar is bringing a great amount of attention back to the sport, and true boxing fans should be greatful for that.

i was there. i was suprised manny left hella early but i didnt get to meet de la hoya or pacquiao. i got to meet nacho berstain and richard schaefer though.nd there was alot of people..no way was there only 100.
