    Step too far for Thaxton, am pleased for him though and it was a sweet right hook. Great punch, I didn't think he ahd it in him,but he was out working his oppoent , and was winning every round.

    Fair play to Carl for speaking his mind about the prediction.

    Also, I still think Khan would have beat him (if he had the bottle to fight him), but I'm going to let him have his moment of glory and say yes John, you'd ko him.

    Anyone else think a fight down the line should be made?

      I think Jono would KO Khan, unless Khan works his defense a lot. If Jono landed anything like what he did on Melero, it would be lights out...

        i think the khan fight should still be made in a couple of fights time, give khan time to try and get his career back on track, and then a fight between the two should be good

        a world title challenge will be a step to far for thaxton i think but after this he deserves his chance if his promoter can get him one, and you never know on the night what could happen
