If Toney comes in shape he wins, most will agree on this

Toney counterpunches him all day, landing around 500 punches throughout the fight to a wide UD

There's a chance that Toney loses at 160 if he fights against Pavlik like he fought Tiberi (weight-drained). Pavlik could outwork him.

Toney would win a one-sided decision/TKO at 168 in my opinion.

Prime Toney vs Prime Pavlik? Prime Toney schools him then stops him late easily.

If Toney's in shape, he stops him.

I really like Kelly Pavlik but I do feel, in some ways, the jury is still out on him. I was convinced that he'd beat Jermain Taylor when I saw him stop Fulgencio Zuniga. And he KO'ed him, but not without some hairy moments. And it was Taylor, not Pavlik, who impressed me in the rematch.

I think that rematch exposed some liabilities in his game that Hopkins has studied. Too bad he's old. A prime Toney, on the other hand, would be far too slippery and dangerous for Kelly. He'd roll with the right and stop him with one of his own. I'd say around the ninth.

At either weight, Toney would KO Pavlik, if he was at his best.

I think Toney would've been way too slick for Pavlik.
