i'm sure he's sick, and we know he was overweight as well so i'm sure the weight drain did not help him in feeling like ****!

Do you know how high of a risk it is to fight without being able to breathe through the nose and - more important - to fight with the mouth wide open? If he really is ill the decision is 100% okay.

EDIT: If he really has the flu it is even more ok to cancel the fight. You shouldn't mess with influenza - it can kill you.

WTF? He's using that as an excuse? A true warrior would fight on. boo hoo, he has 'symptoms'. what is he a fu*&^%$ *****? There are millions of people depending on this guy to entertain them. Do you think Kirk Hammot of Metallica would miss a show because of a hangover? Hell no! The show must go on, bitches. :****you:

There is a difference between continuing and starting a fight with a illness or injury. During a fight your adrenaline and boxing instincts can take over and help you finish but to start a fight with something that can hold you back is completely a different story.

              He is suffering from dehydration

              Check this out:

If dehydration is allowed to continue unabated, when the total fluid loss reaches 5% the following effects of dehydration are normally experienced:
              • Increased heart rate
              • Increased respiration
              • Decreased sweating
              • Decreased urination
              • Increased body temperature
              • Extreme fatigue
              • Muscle cramps
              • Headaches
              • Nausea
              • Tingling of the limbs
              • Chills

He does not have the flu. He simply struggled to make weight.

entirely possible, a doctor would be able to tell the difference though, fight doctors would have seen it all many times, if they say he's got a cold, flu etc then he probably had.

Bit of a wounder this one not going ahead..
What suprises me is all this came on in one day..
With flu you get the signs like 3 or 4 days prior to feeling like ****..
