He is weakened and dehydrated from shedding too much weight before the weigh in. I doubt he has the flu, but I don't doubt he feels like ****. I don't have an issue with it as the fight will still happen. They are doing this so the IBF don't strip his belt from him I think.

Yeah it sucks for Marquez and Abraham, but it is better than putting someone in who is unhealthy and could get seriously injured.

I know it comes down to the responsibility for the fighter to make weight, and I agree with that. You also have to consider that the health of the combatants should be held to a higher level.

Both fighters looked just terrible at the weigh in. It was like their heads were photo shopped on someone else's body. Fighters need to start competing in more realistic weight classes.
