I think Fast Eddie is the best American Heavyweight out right now. He has a lot of good fundamental skills that seems to come natural to him.

yes better than my boy Arreola.

I agree, although if Arreola can keep his weight down, he'll be a force to be reckoned with in the heavyweight division.

I actually had drinks with he and his trainer Henry post Mosley and they both say he wont be 230 as he has been working on building his upper body but they fully expect to be 235-240 from this point on. There was a lot of turmoil going on, largely from the fallout of a Tua fight not happening that caused him to go into a funk.

the dude had about 30 rounds of sparring and that was literally the Friday Sat Sun and Mon before the fight on Thursday

Will Chambers and Arreola ever meet sometime down the line?

im sure that fight would have great potential.

probably not until a title is on the line or if both are in a crossroads "winner is THEE best American Heavyweight" type fight

they are both promoted by Goossen though so maybe

My memory isn't too good, but in his one loss against Povetkin couldn't he have beaten him easily if he had thrown more? I can't really remember anything about that fight except me thinking that Chambers could've beaten him... I can remember Chambers starting off well and then just didn't really do anything...I think.

It was his second straight knock out. Before this was a brutal KO win (a damn nice one!) then a loss, then an SD win over Brock. But cong**** to Fast Eddie, who is a very good fighter.

EDIT: Sorry man, thought you said 18th STRAIGHT ko.

lol pathetic. I wonder if Chambers had gotten the win on Povetkin and his record had gone to 33-0 tonight, if you would have even made a thread on him. You are so transparent its not even funny. If there weren't any eastern European fighters, you wouldn't even watch boxing.

Povetkin, who had the flu at the time, gradually adjusted to him, breaking through the "Philly Shell" defense by using combinations.

Sasha said afterward he was surprised by Chambers power, he'd heard that Eddie was feather-fisted like Chris Byrd.
