Like I said, lol at the KO option. When a fighter is usually stopped on his feet because he's taking an all sort of beating and is getting landed on due to fast combonations. That is not Mayorga nor Baldomir.

This fight would be really messy with good parts in between. Mayorga would try to pressure Baldomir, but so would Baldomir and they'd end up coming together a lot and throw sloppy inaccurate punching. Some good moments in between, but Mayorga winning a UD.

2 years ago this fight would have been a lot closer since Baldomir seemed to have more desire back then.

Again, you give Mayorga no credit. He DID look good against Mosley.

Baldomir so slow I can easily see Mayorga catching him and then going for the kill with some heavy shots untill the ref stops it.

So I guess we'll just agree to disagree.

People dont know Mayorga like they think they do. He won more rounds than Mosley, yet it was Mosleys age that let that happen. Mayorga is just as much past his prime as Mosley is, if not more. A old Mosley is better than a old Mayorga and still look what happend. Once Mayorga stops fighting the most elite fighters of his era and fights reg. Champions, people will be surprised. Fighters with great speed, boxing skills and one punch KO power, is the only mix Mayorga cant beat. He already fought the very best, a tick under and hes going to KO some top 10 guys.

Exactly. Mayorga is the man. He fought everybody, the resume he build in less than 7 years or so is insane.

              Oscar De La Hoya
              Fernando Vargas
              Shane Mosley
              Felix Trinidad
              Cory Spinks
              Vernon Forrest x2
              Andrew Lewis

So what if he lost some of them? If you fight that opposition, you're not gonna win them all.

Carlos in his prime (05-06) takes Mayorga to school via desicion. Mayorga today wins a one sided UD.
