He didn't file bankruptcy a year ago, we were CONSIDERING it a year ago, because of a tax issue from 2003. You can only file once every 8 years, so if he had filed a year ago, obviously he would be ineligible to file again so soon.

And he didn't buy a house. He was GOING TO buy a house after the Guzman fight, which didn't happen. He did not get paid a dime from the Guzman fight, therefore he didn't buy a house.

And all this talk from posters about how is a champion broke, or whatever. It's actually very easy. It isn't like he squandered away millions or anything. He had exactly ONE fight in 08 so far, the Diaz fight, which he took short money for because Diaz had all the leverage. 2 ESPN fights in 07, and one ESPN fight in 06. So he never really made a bunch of money in the first place. He's been extremely frugal in how he spends. He's not an extravagant guy. And keep in mind, this filing isn't just about debts, because other than the IRS, he really doesnt have any.

But because he is a man, he considers himself to have 6 kids, not just 3 kids and 3 stepsons.And every one of his kids can go to college, even if I had to pay for it myself, which I wont have to.
