I can't believe this is true. Why the **** is'nt Williams fighting Clottey. Both camps and Williams are obviously scared of each other. They just come here and talk some **** to make it look like they actually have balls! We know clottey will fight anyone so it's not his fault. I knew it was'nt going to happen it does'nt matter how much **** they talk. I'll never take Williams seriously again if he don't fight Clottey. Williams is just like Floyd now he just talks like everyone else is'nt on his level so he should'nt even bother fighting them. instead he'll fight Baldomir's and Bruseles's and Kolle's and Rodruiguez's and claim he's the best. What a joke. He don't want to fight anyone he just says he does because he knows there's no price to pay for talking **** in boxing. 100% phony!

williams is searching for a fight with Delvin Rodruigiez. What a joke. he needs to fight Clottey or he needs to leave Welter. He can't keep fighting Kolle's and Delvin's until Margarito's ready. It seems to me like his camp don't want to take any chances until he gets Marg again. There is a reason for that.Comment

Phillips promoter Artie Pelullo and Goossen reached a deal and HBO approved the title bout, but issues with Williams having not applied to be ranked by the IBF (which recognizes Phillips' title) and Phillips about to enter a mandatory period next week without having secured an exception killed it. Now, the focus is on Williams defending his belt against Delvin Rodriguez (23-2-1, 14 KOs), who was offered the fight this week and withdrew from a Friday bout in the Dominican Republic because his team didn't want to take any chances. It would be Rodriguez's first fight July, when he scored an 11th-round knockout win against Oscar Diaz, who suffered a severe brain injury and spent two months in a coma.Comment

I know i'm just cheesed that he's not fighting Clottey. There is no reason for him not to. That has to make anyone wonder why Williams camp is'nt going that route. There is a reason for every decision people make. What else could the reason be other than just being scared to add another loss to his record. I don't think Paul will look so invincable against Clottey and I think thats the problem. They're trying to keep thet thought in peoples minds that Pauls some killer in there. If Clottey makes him look ordinary which I believe he will than that whole persona of Paul is gone. Which of course will reduce his marketability and Goosen or Paul can't afford that right now.Comment

if we had it our way Margarito and PWill would already have their date lined up for the end of this year, Clottey would be in a tough test, Mayweather would be back, and Manny would have stayed at 135 calling JMM out one more time
