It could be a good movie. Ward may not have been the greatest of fighters, but films can just bend the truth a bit (change the WBU belt to the Ring or WBC belt or something).

I've heard stories about how ****ed up his family was. His parents and his half-brother, so that could make some good drama.

yeah hes had a hard life, and he may not of been the best fighter but he fought with alot of heart, Ward and Gatti trilogy were amazing, some of the best fights i have seen.

I'm not sure if the movie will include the Gatti-Ward fights but it should.


Ward's brother **** Eklund against Sugar Ray Leonard. Gave a good account of himself in my opinion.

LOL, man that guy was too funny in the sopranos lmao. i dont think they have come up with anybody, all i know is brad pitt plays his older brother, and Wahlberg plays Micky Ward

I really only liked the first Gatti-Ward fight that much. The 3rd fight was pretty good, but I liked a lot of other Gatti and Ward fights more.

Ward's fights with Diaz, Green, Augustus, and Neary are definitely worth watching.

Benicio Del Toro resembles Gatti a little bit even though he's not Italian.
