    Amateur Boxing in WA

I live in WA and I've just seen some clips of Washington boxers.. after watching it, it really pumped me up to compete. Anyone know of sites or stores in Washington that sells some decent gear for a decent price?

Edit: How do I become an amateur boxer?

C'mon. Someone has to know. I've heard so many different things after asking 4523758972348923 people.

      I've heard:
      "Go to a doctor."
      "Go to a gym."
      "Get registered."

I've seen fights of amateur fighters that have never been in a gym. I don't want to go to a gym right now because I can't afford the ones in my city. Sounds crazy to compete without a gym, though I have a guy who's willing to train my first steps.
