Joan Guzman is a good tune up. JMM should have an easy time dealing with Guzman. Then he can fight Nate

Isn't that what Pacman did? Fought fighters after their battles.

I take it in order for JMM to actually deserve a tune up he has to be Pinoy or Black correct?

Does he really need a tune up though? He bounced back spectacularly against Casamayor and he isn't getting any younger either so he should take the big fights.

Oh...deserve and should is another thing. He deserves one yeah.
there is very few money fights available.

his tuneups will probably earn his as much a fight with say a top 10 135 fighter NOT named manny pacquiao.

juanma has very little left to prove. he can retire now and every single time manny wins a fights it improves his legacy. those 2 are tied together in boxing history. the rise and fall of each's legacy depends on the other.

juanma needs to even out the series with manny. that's all he needs.

why risk it against high risk , low reward opponents? a loss to anyone right now will cost him a pacquiao 3rd fight.

that is correct. Juan Manuel Marquez's legacy in boxing will not be able to be discussed without mentioning Manny Pacquiao's name and vice versa.
