they sparred once and golota tried to bully the smaller tua but he couldn't hurt tua and tua just kept coming. andrew got frustrated and started LOWBLOWING tua in SPARRING!

they had to break it up i hear and those 2 never sparred ever again.
No ****? Thanks for the info, man.
I don't think there is a man on the planet that could bully Tua. Dude was strong as a bull.

      it's what i heard.

not a coincidence andrew never fought tua.

tua also helped train holyfield for tyson. holyfield was very complimentary of david and said tua prepared him very well for tyson.

tua never got a chance at holyfield either.

At lower weights he was able to brawl with his opponents and he was still able to outbox brawlers like Chuvalo and Bonavena.

No chance against Liston though, but he would've done better backing up instead of coming forward which made it easy for Sonny. It seemed like Patterson folded and brawled like Spinks against Tyson.

cus d'amato knew that from the first time he ever seen sonny.
D'Amato was 'right' to duck Liston but he made Liston out to be an even bigger threat than he was. Liston could be outboxed with the right strategy, Floyd just didn't have it.

Machen was worse than Patterson but he went the full 12 rounds with Liston.
He did have a more solid chin though.

Ali thought Patterson would've been able to beat Liston if he boxed Liston like he did against Chuvalo. I doubt it but it would've been more interesting than two one-sided first round KO's.

If Patterson came forward like he did against Liston and Johansson then he would get knocked out I agree.

Frazier moving in and out against George Chuvalo
Frazier didn't care about aiming to the head or body he'd just hit you where ever he can. He broke that dude apart damn

Galento called everyone a bum, it was his trademark. He had no technique but he could throw a left hook and take a punch. Galento had never been knocked down until Louis put him down in the first.

He trained for his fights by drinking beer, eating hot dogs, smoking cigarettes and also by throwing elbows and headbutts in preparation. Against Lou Nova he jumped on top of a downed Nova knees first and somehow got away with it.

Frazier didn't care about aiming to the head or body he'd just hit you where ever he can. He broke that dude apart damn
I've seen a picture of Chuvalo's damaged eye after the fight and it looked very brutal.
