Well I won't be a smart ass and say Khan because Merriman is currently on crutches. My point wasn't that anyone couldn't beat Khan in a street fight (obviously some MMA fighters or pro wrestlers could), but that his punches would definitely hurt anyone he hit who wasn't a professional fighter. People have no idea how much it hurts to get hit by a highly trained pro who has hit a heavy bag for countless hours.

i think you give these boxers too much credit for that.
I have seen Zab in a street fight. i saw Larry Holmes attempt a flying drop-kick. Etc.
In fact, you see MANY more examples of champion boxers loking absolutely goofy in a street fight than you see them laying some cat out with a single punch.Comment

Sure you can beat amir khan in a street fight, theres no rules in a street fight limiting you to only punches, and they must land in certain areas. In a street fight, you can rugby tackle them, wrestle them, pinch them, bite them anything. OFC if he got some good combo punches on you before you could attack him, it'd be night night most likely.
