He aint Half as slick as he thinks he is but can win the right fights at HW and even the ones he cant win he will bring entertainment tooComment

Agreed...unbelievable that it was him who said that it makes no sense to challenge Wlad if he can't win against Barrett. The pressure on him must be immense at this point. He said that he retires if he doesn't win the fight...that's crazy, he's young and has a lot potential. I don't like him, because he has a big mouth, but he's definitely a classy fighter.Comment

Austin was 24-3 and the #1 contender, his losing fights were his 1st, which was a four rounder, a 6 rounder, and his 1st 10 rounder, all early in his career.
Thompson had lost only 1 fight and was #1 contender.
Both of these guys were 6' 6" and highly respected.
Ibragimov was the WBO Champ and unbeaten.
So....................THINK before you jump in with your mouth wide open.......you could drown.Comment

Ibragimov, who held a world title and won a Silver Medal at the 2000 Olympics, is far from being a bum.Wlad's fight with Sultan was a heavyweight unification.
Thompson was Wladimir's WBO mandatory and is actually a very good fighter. He wanted to be Haye's opponent and was ducked!
Austin was Wlad's IBF mandatory. He's shot now after 1 1/2 years of inactivity, but he was actually more of a fringe contender/journeyman than a real bum. He had draws with a couple of decent fighters.
Bonin, who was KOed by Fraudley Harrison, is a clearly a bum.Comment

Haye is good for boxing but him alone can't change **** and for every Haye who won't (apparently) make us waste our money waiting for a meaningful fight there are 10 undefeated crap prospects who will make you wait till they are 30 until they have a meaningful fight.Comment

Those bums that Klitschko only turned out to be "bums" after Klitschko beat them so easily. Until then they were highly respected heavyweight contenders or champions.

Former undisputed cruiserweight champion David Haye has promised to show the boxing public on November 15 that his chin is better than many think. Haye will face ranked heavyweight Monte "Two Gunz" Barrett at Greenwich’s 02 Arena in London. Because Haye was dropped and rocked a few times at the cruiserweight level, many experts believe that he's going to struggle against hard punching heavyweights. Haye believes his chin will take Barrett's punches. [details]
haye was doing so good.
with all previous rational statements about barrett.
now he's back with the narcistic leader of the master hvwt clowns
persona.
i put this loud mouth down because of that but have hope he can pull it off to being a top contender in this weak hvwt circus.
he needs to do like khan and get away from the regional meathooks. and train with real proffesional trainers!
just hope he breaks away from being a hyped regional brit fighter to being world a class boxer.Comment
