Do you think that David Haye is the second coming of Michael Spinks?
Does he have the pure boxing skills and ring generalship to make it big-even in today's heavyweight division?

Agreed...unbelievable that it was him who said that it makes no sense to challenge Wlad if he can't win against Barrett. The pressure on him must be immense at this point. He said that he retires if he doesn't win the fight...that's crazy, he's young and has a lot potential. I don't like him, because he has a big mouth, but he's definitely a classy fighter.

Austin was 24-3 and the #1 contender, his losing fights were his 1st, which was a four rounder, a 6 rounder, and his 1st 10 rounder, all early in his career.

Thompson had lost only 1 fight and was #1 contender.

Both of these guys were 6' 6" and highly respected.

Ibragimov was the WBO Champ and unbeaten.

So....................THINK before you jump in with your mouth wide open.......you could drown.

Austin was Wlad's IBF mandatory. He's shot now after 1 1/2 years of inactivity, but he was actually more of a fringe contender/journeyman than a real bum. He had draws with a couple of decent fighters.

Bonin, who was KOed by Fraudley Harrison, is a clearly a bum.
I wish I'd read your letter before replying. Clearly, we have the same opinion.

Haye is good for boxing but him alone can't change **** and for every Haye who won't (apparently) make us waste our money waiting for a meaningful fight there are 10 undefeated crap prospects who will make you wait till they are 30 until they have a meaningful fight.

Not what I wanted to hear but OK. He shouldn't worry about trying to be too tough, just get the win.

                      auhhhh no.
                      haye was doing so good.
with all previous rational statements about barrett.
now he's back with the narcistic leader of the master hvwt clowns
                      persona.
i put this loud mouth down because of that but have hope he can pull it off to being a top contender in this weak hvwt circus.
he needs to do like khan and get away from the regional meathooks. and train with real proffesional trainers!
just hope he breaks away from being a hyped regional brit fighter to being world a class boxer.
