I dont think so either but I think it's smart on Mayweather and Ellerbee's part to at least attend the fight to see if a Mosley fight would be worth the time and effort. That way if he indeed does comeback he can control the action in terms who gets to fight him next

say Manny wins Dec 6th, he can pit both a Manny and a Mosley fight against each other to see who brings him the most money. Now on the surface most would say "easily Manny he brings the biggest fanbase" BUT Manny would probably want a bigger split PLUS Arum would want a promoters fee out of it. With Mosley I got to think he would be willing to take a split heavily favoring Mayweather plus Mayweather has worked with GBP on shows before.

now say Oscar wins Dec 6th, the rematch would be talked about for a while and Mayweather can use a Shane fight as leverage considering Mayweather would probably want a 50-50 split with Oscar.

smart move on Team Mayweather to be seen at this fight

i agree shane didnt look good against mayorga but to say he struggled when mayorga landed 12% & didnt land 100 punches. shane can still beat floyd.

floyd will run but shane has the skills to cut he ring off. floyd aint hitting hard enough to keep shane off him. he have a better defense than shane thats bout it. to some it up floyd will lose that 0.
Why did he struggle??? I can't take ppl serious who start to argue about the Hatton fight and that it was close. It was his gameplan dude... do you think Ali was outclassed by Foreman??? Until Ali knocked him out with a lucky punch? What are you smokin? DLH is naturally a way bigger man then him and many say he should be in the HOF... so I guess he must have some skills... but still it was a clear UD for Floyd...

Shane can't and would have never beaten Floyd. Floyd wanted to fight him way back... but back then Mosley wasn't in for the risk reward ratio... he moved up weight classes to fight DLH... and after Floyd started to become something and Mosley moved back down to 147 he started to call him out... that's it... funny how ppl forget if they want too.

Would love too see him back in the ring... but against someone else... whose more of a bully kind of a fighter. Nobody outboxes him, so every boxer would be a little boring... but a fighter who brings it to him makes him creative. To tell the truth... in the Hatton fight he really looked happy and hungry like I haven't seen in a long time. It looked like it made fun to him. He brawled inside and like it, from the outside, he even went after him at times... against a Cotto or something, somebody his size who pushes him around... P-Will is to tall... he would move and box him... Maragrio is the same... but a Cotto could be interesting

i never said hatton outclassed him. i said he made floyd a lil uncomfortable. dont act like floyd is boxing almighty. floyd wont have an easy fight with 37 yr old shane. last i checked shane been calling him out for yrs. last time floyd said anything bout fighting shane was after shane said h was takng the rest of 06 off. if believed in himself like u believe in hm he wouldve made they fight.

So according to your logic Piper, Shane is scared to fight Judah because he optioned out after Judah's injury. If Shane believed in himself as much as you believe in him, he would have made the Judah fight already.

              Sounds dumb right?

                a beat c huh.

barely beat? well jerry roth can suck a ****.
it was ud, like shane. Shane was a ko artist with some athletisme, sure in his prime it would be entertaining but also eye opening, forrest a lousy boxer compared to floyd beat him, imagine what floyd would do to him pick him apart like he did zab.

                    Nah, D-dub.

Shane is not a PPV fighter. Anything Floyd paid him would be a "gift". I really don't see much in this fight for Floyd.

actually, your statement is very inaccurate.

Shane turned down a Floyd fight because of "uh, um, my tooth. And I think we are planning a vacation".
