WW Calender Proposal(End of 08/09) Discuss

This is the discussion all over so why not consolidate it to one thread

From what I know, here is how I realistically think things should go

End of year

Berto vs Collazo(he should take the mandatory)

Williams vs Clottey(Both fighters need it, showcase of HBO, unification/dominating fight could push either past Margarito as #1 WW, add to his hunger)
Prediction:Williams

Next year

Berto vs Cotto(good size matchup, adds possibility for Cotto/Berto to be a unification bout)
Prediction:Berto
Williams vs Santos at 154(He can take out another guy who defeated Margarito)
Prediction:Williams
Margarito vs Mosley(It will happen, would be a huge fight in LA like Arum wants, Margarito will win)
Prediction: Margarito
Clottey vs Cintron(2 guys who could use the comeback after Williams KOs Clottey)
Prediction:who cares?

After this string of fights you likely the following

Williams gets Margarito
Someone moves up to fight Berto(Pacquiao?)

Winner of these 2 fights will fight superfight or Williams/Margarito winner call out Floyd after they have the backing to do so

Floyd would fight a comeback bout vs a ****y Berto(or whoever beats him) and take him out before fighting the winner

It is amazing that because Williams KO'd two guys that have been down in the past, he is now the Tommy Hearns of our era.

After Berto beat Cotto and another big boxer, he may be seen as a nice tuneup before fighting Margaito or Williams

I said in an earlier thread all we need is Marg-Pwill 2 to see who runs **** at 147. Everything else is just a bonus for us. That fight needs to happen. I got no problem wit a Clottey-Pwill eliminator or a rematch between Marg and Clottey as it was originally planned, but it's already clear that Marg is the man and Pwill is the #1 challenger, so they need to settle it and give us an undisputed WW champ. I wanna see Berto step it up but I think he needs one more fight before he throws his name into the unification mix. Collazo, Zab, or SSM would be perfect for him right now. Only people I'd give a chance against Marg are Pwill and Clottey.
