Cotto vs Berto or Cotto vs Clottey which would you rather see?

It depends.

Berto would be a credible win because of the strap.

Clottey would be a credible win b/c he's better name on his resume and is more battle tested.

It is because of the strap that Berto makes for the bette fight and the styles of both fighter make for an exciting fight as well.

Cotto side: Cotto get a tune up fight with a belt holder who is not as experienced and can be hit. Cotto wins he gets a televised fight possible PPV, tuen up, belt and moves on to fight Margarito in june for a unifacation fight

berto side: he get s big money fight with a big name, if he wins he is going to be reckond as one of the lite WW as he so dearly wants. he get the experience in the ring with an elite WW and possibly a unifacation fight with margarito in June rather then Cotto.....Lefty

i wanna see cotto vs kermit cintron i wanna see where cottos chin is like after that beating. if he cant beat cintron he has no business in there wit that killer marg again it will be worst the second time. i think clottey vs cotto would also be a great match. cottos never fought no one as skilled as clottey. if he gets past either he should fight the winner of paul williams vs margarito if marg ever gets some balls. i know hes a great strong mexican warrior that i wont deny but he really looking yellow right now by ducking williams. as for berto he should fight collazo or quintana or baldomir. hes gonna be special but he needs a couple fights first. i think he has all the skills to beat cotto though.

You think Cintron has the skill to test Cotto chin? You think Cotto's chin is in doubt after the punishment he took from Marg? Did you see the shots Marg hit Cotto with? Did you see the punishment Marg absorbd? Obviously you didn't watch the fight and really look at Cotto's performance for you to be saying this regarding Cintron. Cintron would be a tune up at best and he has not half the skills that Clottey or berto posses. All hehas is a punch and tell me who he KO'd that wasn't a bum?....Lefty

This is exactly why I want to see the fight...I think even now it will be a great fight...Berto is alot like Mosely fast hands sim fighting style and Cotto and Mosely made for a great fight.....Lefty

Keep in mind you or I want to see Cotto fight Marg for a second time. So if you were Cotto or his management which fighter would you rather see him fight or which fighter do you think gives him the best chance of tuning up and getting ready for a margarito rematch in June 09? Explain why you feel that way or maybe you think either fighter can beat him and he should pick a different opponent. Let me know what your thoughts are....Lefty

none of those guys will give cotto the kind of tune up he needs to fight margarito. he should fight baldomir who is a margarito clone without the punching power.

The right move is to match Berto against Collazo, then Baldomir or Judah. After that he's ready for the top WWs. Cotto needs to get back in that ring with the beast like Rocky did with Clubber Lang. As for Cintron, I'd like to see him fight Quintana or Williams, not Margarito or Cotto, he's not on that level.
