i think he is still a good while away from the other champs. he shouldnt try 2 unify anytime soon. he dont have enough power 2 stop the top guys except maybe cotto. but cotto is still on a level higher than him at the current moment. he needs 2 fight the cintrons, collazos, quintanas, and then maybe baldomir. all those guys kill any of the opponents he's ever faced. if he beats those level opponents then he can start thinking about becoming the best

Beating Forbes who is too small for WW and now he thinks he's the best? Yea right.

Berto - U.S. version of Amir Khan

How is Berto the US' version of Amir Khan? For one, Berto has already proven himself worthy by beating Forbes. Like it or not Forbes is a good fighter who would give anyone trouble and while he may not be brilliant at WW, which is just a little too big for him, anyone that is not solid top tier level would lose against him.

Khan got KO's in the first round by an absolute nobody. Berto has taken big shots and come back firing and has won every fight. Also against better fighters than Prescott.

I know what you're getting at. Berto now claiming he is the best among a division of incredible champs and fighters after beating one solid guy is a bit over the top, but man, he is not Khan. This guy will be a champ for a long time to come and will have a good career. It's highly possible Khan will never truly get off the ground and reach even a small % of the heights he was meant to reach. If he is getting knocked out cold in one round by untested prospects then he will never beat a top tier experienced champ.

Anyway, I know what you mean.

I would personally like to see him fight Clottey. Well, I want everyone to fight Clottey. That guy needs to start getting the big fights now damn it. Margarito, Williams and Berto. They should be the next three opponents for Clottey.
