    Should HBO replace Max Kellerman?

There's a similar thread about Larry Merchant.

I think that HBO should replace Max Kellerman, because he really doesn't have the right voice or personality for the job! There are plenty of qualified people who could replace him...

Since there are no Hispanic Americans among the current HBO crew, despite there being so many Hispanic boxers, it would be good to see Kellerman replaced with someone from this minority.

nah kellerman is extremely knowledgeable for his age... always tells the 100% truth, and can pretty much keep up with the pace of the fight on commentary

although his crackhead eyes get to me sometimes

I love Kellerman, I think some people are just too dumb to understand what he's talking about half the time.

Kellerman is ok but Lampley, Merchant and Lewis should all be replaced,

Lampley is biased, he misses important things during fights, he has a good voice but his actual commentary is not great, Showtime guys are better just maybe not better sounding,

Lewis contributes nothing, stutters all the time and makes himself sound foolish,

old man Merchant is also biased, why cant HBO commentators not have a hidden agenda?

from what i have seen from Kellerman he seems ok to me

Maybe it's the drugs that cause him to get his facts confused sometimes.

Twice during the Calzaghe - Hopkins broadcast, he said Eubank knocked Calzaghe down in the first round of their fight, when it was Joe who knocked Eubank down.

I agree with you sir....His lisp and eyes are annoying sometimes but he does speak the truth unlike most commentators. He also has good knowledge and he makes me laugh every now and then....Lefty

Kellerman can be extremely biased against certain fighters, and sometimes he seems to be infatuated with others.

He once said "boxing would be better off without the Klitschkos", showing his bias against them.

And because of his infatuation with Zab Judah, he wrote in his column and talked about how the stoppage in Tszyu vs. Judah was early (Judah was knocked down, got up, did the chicken dance, and fell down again and then the referee waved it off - good stoppage). He seems to feel Zab was justified in attacking the referee.
