I collect fights from the early 1900's to the present. I have loads now ranging from Jack Johnson to Amir Kahn. I collect books too, i have quite a few boxing autobiographies. The last one i bought was the Chris Eubank one. I also collect magazines too, i always buy Boxing News, KO, The Ring and Boxing Monthly without fail. I've got too many now though but i like it. I would like to collect autographs, the only one i have is Prince Naseems and i'm so proud of it, i got it just before the Barrera fight.

Id love to be able to collect a lot more, but my room is completely filled up and I am trying to clear things out now as it is...

With the internet and a mega huge hard drive their is a lot less space taken up from the videos and dvds I use to have.

One of my prized collectibles is the entire set to the round 1 kayo boxing series boxing cards along with a "fight of the ages" hologram card of foreman vs holyfield, I love that card.

Plus the list of fighters in that series is stupendous.

Yeah my hardrive is full of fights too, i have been filling in alot of gaps by downloading fights. I'm going to put them on to DVD then, thats what i'm going to do with all my videos, it will take awhile but it will be worth it. Besides each time a video gets played the quality decreases over time, DVD quality stays the same forever. I haven't seen those cards before, i bet you must be really proud of them. Things like that could be worth quite abit in years to come. My old fights of Jack Dempsey and Jack Johnson are some of my proud collectales.

Surprisingly enough I cant find one price guide that will list these cards and no sellers even saw them and, wouldnt know what to quote on them....I mean a middleweight james toney card has to be worth something, same goes for a featherweight arturo gatti card you know????

Vhs loses quality when it isnt played, the video degrades overtime by just sitting their.....I plan on putting a lot of fights on dvds as well....I want to make menus for them but it seems like a hassle maybe a cover yes but menus would be cool but since it is only the fight it doesnt really matter....

          I've got these vhs tapes

          Muhammad Ali the greatest
          Sugar Ray Leonard sports champions
          Ali-norton trilogy
          Champions forever
          Super fight hagler vs leonard
          Rumble in the jungle
          thrilla in manilla
I shook up the world clay vs liston
          The greatest dvd

I've been thinking of converting them to dvd for sometime now....

I got all of those tapes for a buck at a flea market

Im always looking for little stuff like that...I ran across a vhs box set at big lots (cheap-O store) that had legends from boxing/football/basketbal/baseball and it is like a 3 hour video of just boxing with over 30-45 boxers, good stuff.....

We have a "cheap-O" Big Lot's here too; maybe I should become a closeout shopper!

oh I forgot to add I had a signed programme from the lennox holyfield fight (first one and both fighters).

My ex threw it out "cos she thought I had read it"

She followed it a few months later.

              gutted.

having saidthat I know a site you can get Tyson signed stuff, and a lot of the greats Benn , la motta, Duran, arguello to name a few, not trying to spam here but if anyone is interested let me know Ill PM the link.
