    Kevin Johnson or Monte Barrett

Okay all the haye haters were mad because he was going to fight johnson, they said he was feather fisted and was a bum, but know he,s fighting barrett, who has more power than johnson and has fought much better competition, but know there saying he,s ducking johnson, so discuss who would you rather have haye fight Johnson or barrett.

I am not impressed by Johnson, so I guess I would say Barrett. Having said that, I haven't seen his defeat to Cliff Couser, so I'm not certain.

Either way, they aren't top 10, are they?

I think Barrett is ok for his first fight after moving up. Going from fighting cruisers to HWs is a big difference and he would be wise to ease into it rather than taking on a top guy too soon.

I'd be more impressed if he beat Johnson. Barrett is more of a known quality, but that level isn't very high and he is 37 now. I mean Wladimir Klitschko totally destroyed Barrett when he was in his prime. What is Haye going to prove by beating him? At least you don't have any tapes of someone else beating up Kevin Johnson.

When did I say barret was a good fighter, all I was saying is barret has more experience and more power than johnson, vlad is almost 6,7 and out weighted barret by more than 20 pounds, prime or not haye and barret are around the same height and around the same weight, he wont have the advantages that vlad had.

You asked who would be a better opponent for Haye. I'm not sure how good Kevin Johnson is, although my opinion isn't really that high based on what I've seen. However I do know exactly how good Barrett is, as well as how old he is. I'd rather take a chance on the X factor.

Plus if Johnson is terrible we can be done with him now instead of later.

Chances are he will take another year and a half to fight a relevant opponent

barrett isnt a bad fighter, at one point he was maybe a B class fighter, and if the right barrett shows up, he can be a good fighter.

barrett hasnt had a long great glorious career, but hes someone who you can put on your resume as a solid win. i dont know who johnson is, but barrett has proved himself at least.
