Bradley is getting ahead of himself here. With his surprise victory over Witter he leapt from relatively unheralded prospect/ contender to world champion, and while he looks to have all the tools, he still has more to prove as a truly elite boxer. Lightweight is very deep and he runs the risk of going down only to become an also-ran. If he stays at 140 he has a good chance to become the man, and there are meaningful fights to be made there, Paulie Malignaggi should be a makeable fight for example, whether Paulie wins or loses against Hatton.
Of course, if Bradley is following the money then lightweight makes sense based on probability and finance. More big name fighters means more chance of fighting them means more paydays. I would like to see Bradley solidify as a force at 140 though.
