Larry is the best thing about HBO's coverage. Boxing coverage is supposed to be entertaining and Larry is certainly that, the way he expresses himself can be both clever and funny. Why anyone would want him to retire is beyond me, because when he's gone there'll be no more off the wall "Queen Shane" comments, just the horrible grating sound of Max Kellerman trying desperately to impress. Ugh.

The best thing HBO did was cut larry's contract so he's not there screwing up every fight commentary and then man humping his favorite fighters post-fight instead of asking questions and answers the fans want to hear.

Larry used to be funny but as he's gotten older he's just a bitter old bastard now that hates everyone not named shane mosley. He should have retired years ago but let's hope HBO terminates his contract before this ******* turns off any more new fans.
