Has anyone Seen Collazo? The last time I can remember seeing this guy he was getting outhustled by a guy who he called a old man(Mosley). Collazo's career has been on the downside mainly due to inactivity as well as low level competition

Forbes looked better against Berto than he did against DLH and Berto beat him more convincingly. Larry Merchant had a great line last night when he said "You can almost see him becoming a man in there." He really came on in the 6th when he started landing his uppercuts clean and if you look at the punch stats you can see the decline in punches thrown from Forbes.

Forbes felt Berto's power and had to go on the defense. It was a great win for Berto.

LOL. This is your first post and you have already joined the masses of clueless rejects here.

Collazo will be a very good fight to find out where he is in the WW seen. As a prospect he wasnt really challenged the way Steve Forbes challenged him last night, I think that fight will turn out to be good for him in his growth as a fighter. Collazo would be similar, probably more of a challenge as he is a really tricky fighter, and he isnt as feather fisted as Forbes.

He is not ready yet for Margaritos and Cottos of the world. I think a guy with descent Punching power will ko him. I hope not because I like watching him fight, but he wont last long as a champ!!!
From what I saw Forbes had a hard time hitting Berto.

collazo has a decent chance of upsetting berto. it would be a big step up in competition imho.

Berto is progressing, but he still has not fought a top 10 contender. If he is real, he should fight Clottey, Quintana or Mosley. By the time he speaks Williams, Cotto or Margs, they will be on the way out or already gone. He gets KO'd by the first puncher he faces.

And if you pay attention to the fight Berto tightened up his defense later in the fight and started to get hit much much less.

Give him two fights and i predicts he beats both Marg and Cotto and please quote me on that.
QUTOED SIR.....Honestly he got hit alot by Forbes in teh early rounds. Forbes was able to land clean shots to both the head and the body. He wasn't throwing alot of punches but he was landing at a high rate. Marg throws a tremendous amount of punches and to both the head and the body with wixked combos. I think Berto has alot of trouble with that right now. As for Cotto if he can tighten up his D and box the way he did against Marg and Shane he beats Berto too right now. Berto did not show me enough Saturday. he won be landslide but I think he should have tried to pour it on and Ko Forbes. the guy as some have said couldn't hurt berto right? So why then did he not go for the kill and try to KO Forbes?......Lefty

**** man... He injured his left hand on round 3! And oh yeah, the guy is lefty, what you expected. At least he survived 12 ****ing rounds, Mayorga cant say that, and Collazo is not considered to be at that level. ****... give the man some credit. If you dont like it, dont watch him, as simple as that.
