    Berto vs. Maragarito....

Could Berto break a record for most uppercuts landed if he fought Margarito? LOL.. But on a serious note do any of you think that Berto could give Margarito alot of problems with his uppercut? I mean damn Forbes is a really good defensive fighter and Berto hit him with some great fast and strong uppercuts. Margarito practically lets you hit him with uppercuts. His face is like a homing device for uppercuts! lol I'm not saying Berto would beat him but what do you all think?

Berto and Margarito aren't fighting anytime soon. If they were to fight Margarito would get hit with uppercuts, but I mean Cotto hit him with a lot of uppercuts too and it didn't hurt him. It's hard to say. DiBella has Cintron and Quintana and then Collazo is fighting Berto next so that fight would be about 18 months out at best.

I think Margarito would be a nightmare for Berto.

Oh i know. Its too early for Berto to fight Margarito but I just wonder how it would go. Yeah Cotto hit Margarito with uppercuts but the uppercut isnt Cottos best punch and it's obvious it is Bertos best punch. Do you think Cotto would be able to take a Berto uppercut?

At this point, it's hard to say. Cotto just got KO'd and he didn't really fight his fight in that one. I hope he's not going to think he needs to get on his toes from now on. I think Berto is getting pretty close to being ready to fight the top guys, but it's hard to say what he'd do against either Cotto or Margarito before seeing him in against Collazo and Quintana.

I mean he could hurt them with an uppercut or he may get bullied so bad that he doesn't even land many uppercuts.

Why are we talking about Margarito taking uppercuts? Cotto is the one that eats uppercuts like breakfast and is hurt by good ones. Margarito would kill Berto; Berto has a decent chance against Cotto. That's a fight I'd love to see.

Yeah I'd actually love to see Cotto vs Berto. I'm curious to see how Cotto would handle a few Berto uppercuts.

Yeah even though I think Cotto's power would cause Berto some trouble, I dont like the fact that Berto throws that uppercut with such ferocity and Cotto just cant avoid it.

Margarito on the other hand would devastate Berto and stop him in the mid rounds. It's no surprise DiBella even said he doesn't want that fight.

I think Berto could possibly do good against Margarito. There are lots of ifs and maybes about that though.

It would be interesting though. Atleast in my opinion.

Too early for Berto, Marg would break him down and stop him.

1-2 years down the line it might be a different story.
