I won a bet too - I was hoping Virchis would win, but he looked so pale and unhealthy at the weigh-in I knew he was going to lose.

I read he's been having some kind of health problems, and Universum has really screwed him around.

I saw the fight. Vichis was outclassed. Gomez is a very talented fighter. Very natural. He took advantage of the poor guard of Virchis. He landed a perfect countershot on the point of the chin to put Virchis down. Gomez is not a fighter to be taken lightly IMO.

You're right. I've felt for a long time that JCG was the most underrated heavyweight in the world. I knew that KO loss was a fluke.
