Clottey gave Margarito a hell of a fight in which a lot of people, including people who WEREN'T Williams fans at the time but now are on his jock all of a sudden, felt that Clottey "whooped Margarito's ass" and would have won if it wasnt for the "hand injury".

Carlos Quintana was somewhat competitive with Cotto untill Cotto finally broke him down and made him quit on his stool.

So then Clottey and his camp stepped up after and were willing to take on Williams and they choose...........................Quintana?

Clottey was willing to step in and fight Williams as his first title defense opponent earlier this year but did not get the chance. Team Williams opted to select Carlos Quintana as their opponent. “We’ll fight Paul Williams but he never steps up to the plate,” says Scolpino. “We’d love to fight but he never mentions our name. That’d be a good unification bout. I don’t think they have an opponent for the November 29 HBO date.”

Why is that? Now the Williams camp wont even mention Clottey's name.

Margarito was supposed to fight Clottey at the end of this year, but now all of a sudden, plans have changed and Margarito is not fighting anymore in 08. Coincidence?

now you're changing it up? You're saying Carlos Quintana was a bigger name than Clottey after being DESTROYED by Cotto?

Just admit it, the Williams camp went after the safer opponent in Quintana after seeing what a tough fight Clottey gave Margarito. Explain to me how that is NOT the case? This should be REALLY good.
