The more I think about it the more I think it's within the realm of possibility.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to see it, and I'd rather it not happen. But I think if Hatton beats Malignaggi and Oscar wrecks Pacquiao as expected, they'll both fight each other sometime next year to pad their purse before retirement.

    Am I alone?

Hatton would beat Delahoya becuase his trainer is better than freddie roach. Hatton should just fight Margartio so that he can outbox margarito then get the title. That way mayweather will come back in january 09 and beat him again, then he will fight williams, and williams tko round 6, because judah actually dropped mayweather.

Or we could just go dig up Joe Louis and have him fight Williams to cement Williams' status as an ATG...............

I doubt it since both men wouldn't wanna give up Floyd Sr.

no your not alone, if your scenario plays out correctly, Hatton and DLH both winning sets up a match between the 2 perfectly.

which brings me to my second point .. that's what DLH-Hatton will be fighting for. (or over .. hell maybe Floyd Sr. can switch corners between rounds if DLH and Golden Boy wanna really make news.)

I can just picture a teary DLH at the presser,

"and after training me for so long Floyd Sr. just up and leaves me for Ricky Hatton, (build into lame plug for Hatton/DLH)

That's why this fight vs Hatton is personal he stole my trainer. Oh and It'll make me a lot of money, so it's good for the sport, and if you aren't one of the 275 fans who get to buy a ticket .. please buy it on PPV for $54.95."

That'd be funny as hell, to see them arguing through the press about who rightfully deserves Sr.

I still think it's a possibility though. The final "fuck you" from Oscar De La Hoya.

I'm certainly hoping I'm wrong, and I probably am.

Hatton has voiced the fact he wouldn't take the fight a few times, He knows Oscar is too big for him.

I don't know. Paulie is showing alot of dedication towards his training while Hatton was walking around looking out of shape as alwayz BUT if Hatton winz I'm 100% sure DLH will fight Hatton.
