Arreola really needs to step up he's ready. He needs to at least fight a gate keeper like the barrets brocks or mclines of the world.Comment

Allegedly he fightin Travis Walker in November. That would be a good fight, a step up in competition. If Arreola comes in like he did against Garcia he'll get KO'd.Comment

David Rodriguez is a fighter from my hometown of El Paso Texas. I have seen him fight a few times and he has good potential. He has a solid punch but he's still a little rough around the edges. He throws those hard punches a bit wildly. I think he is definately in Chris Arreola's class, but not in the class of the Klitschko's. My concern is Rodriguez's age. He's about 32yrs old and is still being spoon fed opponents. I think they should have stepped up in opponent class about three years ago.Comment

I am from El Paso, and Rodriquez has fought nothing but tomato cans his entire career. Moreover, he hardly ever fights. I think any heavyweight ranked in the Top 10 in any division would give him a beat down. He seems to be angling for one big shot, a la "the great Mexican heavyweight hope". I would like to think I am wrong about him, but I've seen him fight several times. He is always rusty due to inactivity, and a bit slow, and the chin is suspect. We've only ever had one world boxing champion from this area, e.g. Delia "Chiquita" Gonzalez. The men, however talented (and several could have been world champs), seem to get swallowed up in boxing's meat market.....Comment
