The only thing that can be questioned is how would Marciano do against big heavyweights. He fought some big HW's but they were quite simply talentless.

Fights against top contenders of the era like Nino Valdes and Bob Baker would've answered some questions. Although I'm quite sure he wouldn't be given credit for those two wins either.

Marciano was a great fighter and a top10 HW all-time.

It takes a lot to reach 49 fights undefeated. Just ask Larry Holmes and ( ) Brian Nielsen.

Yeah, undefeated in a very very weak area means nothing. Chagaevis undefeated so far what happens if he retires his way. He beat fighter bigger than him like Valuev unlike Rocky getting dropped by smaller men

Difference is, Vitali's been inactive for four years due to injuries.
