Who is the most OVERRATED fighter of all time?

Who do you think is the most overrated fighter of all time?

Someone who really wasn't as good as he was made out to be? Someone who was badly overhyped?

In recent memory it's Joe Calzaghe and Felix Trinidad, hands down.

Of the ones on your list, I'll go with LaMotta, Morrison, and Holyfield.

Ali, Holmes, Louis, Tyson, Lewis, and Mayweather are all legit.

If Roy beats Joe, and 'Nard beats Kelly we could finally get the rematch we're all dying to see.

I chose Ali, not because he wasn't a great fighter, but because a lot of people believe he was the greatest. He was a top ten heavyweight of all time, but some people make him out to be far above the rest, but he wasn't.

He lost twice in his prime, age 29 and age 31, and three of his wins should have been losses, especially Ali vs. Norton III. His wins in the sixties were against past prime fighters, like Liston and the china-chinned Patterson.
