That's whats wrong with boxers they worry n focus on other fighters looking pass their opponents and when they lose they want a immediate rematch ummm no you shouldn't be looking past any opponent especially one that could box his ears off...Hatton is so overrated ...

Overrated? Look, I'm not a #1 Hatton fan, but you might be taking it a bit far making that kind of statement, don't you think?
Maybe Floyd made him look bad, but that shouldn't erase his 44 wins and 31 ko's bro. Floyd can make ANYONE look bad with that awkward defense and slippery style.
And IS HE looking past Malignaggi just for talking about boxing during his training?
I think if he talks without training hard, then maybe yea, but if he's training his hardest, then his actions should speak volumes about not looking past Paulie.

filipino in the house.....fan of pac man but i dont see him winning or even going the distance with the golden boy. i think the only way is the punchers chance (the lucky shot). i hope by what ive said this discredits the thread that says ALL filipino's are ignorant.

as for hatton, if you think he's overrated what about arturo gatti. he also fell victom to mayweather but that doesnt mean his ****ty. they were just put in the ring with a fighter who's style was a superior to there's. in other words "styles make fights" wasnt gatti vs. ward a great fight........

not stating facts just strong opinion's...could be wrong but thats how i feel......peace...

I believe Pac will beat DLH. Even though DLH is taller and bigger, like the old saying goes speed kills. I think Manny's speed will be tough for aging Oscar. Plus Manny's got decent power packed into his punches. I believe Manny will win. Just like I believe my Redskins will beat the Cowboys (I pray!!) this weekend!! I BELIEVE GOT DAMN IT!!!
Hatton shouldn't even be talking bout this fight. Both Manny and Oscar would massacre him.

Haha, Hatton is an expert! It's like saying "I knew Mayweather was gonna beat Baldomir".

This fight is gonna be as one sided as they can get.

The saying that "speed kills" has nothing to do with boxing. It's to do with driving faster than weather or road conditions should allow. Some bright boxing "sage" used it to illustrate the reason that a particular fighter was KO'd .

But what he meant was that the punch came from "nowhere" [so of course must have been super-fast, quicker than the eye could see.....ahem ahem]. It's well known that a punch which is unexpected and unseen has a far greater effect than one for which one can otherwise guard against.

What's missing in the boxing "sagacity" is that as well as "speed" the punch needs a certain amount of power.

In my opinion speed in itself takes away frompower because part of the speedy punch includes removing it from the target just as quickly. This can inhibit the FULL follow-through, the completion of the puinch, which contains the mainspring of the power.

Sorry for writing about such a self-evident piece of nonsense, I'm just fed up with that saying (speed kills) and all that crap, often written by those who couldn't punch their way out of a soap bubble.

Pacquiao couldn't even knock out juan manuel marquez! How is he going to hurt a guy who's 20 pounds heavier than marquez? As for the speed thing, marquez totally outbox manny, de la hoya will do it even easier.

I wouldn't listen to what Hatton has to say, he was nearly ko'd in his last fight before the cheating ref stepped in the 10th round to give hatton a 30-40 second breather... ****ing ridiculous
