    Breland/Davis was a rough fight.

I'd nominate Whitaker/McGirt, Toney/McCallum I as classics from a "boxing purist" standpoint. Very highly skilled stuff in both of those fights. Feinting, footwork, hand speed, combination punching, defense, supreme technical proficiency.

Briggs/Adamek I and II, Minto/Maddalone (both guys suck but ya can't deny the action), Eubank/Watson II.

Jirov was a killer and Toney put on a clinic. A close good fight.
      Ward-Augustus was ridiculously good too.

Never thought Mormeck was that great myself.
Jirov did have more than a year layoff before the fight but there's no doubt that he was in shape on fight night. Toney/Jirov was a beautiful clash of styles...one of the more grueling fights I have seen in quite some time.

Mormeck is just a strong ****. I can't see how he makes Cruiser with his build.

        Miranda v Pavlik
        Moorer v Holyfield 2

        what you got
        Lewis-Mercer wasn't too shabby either.

Chavez-Randall I is just brilliant. Man, EVERYBODY needs to watch fights like this because afterwards, you probably wouldn't be so quick to call some old guy overrated or whatever. Randall and Chavez fought at another level that night and I don't know any dude at 140 - and most of 147 - fighting now who could've TOUCHED that dude that night.

great shout oldgringo two highly skilled pugilists in a very competitive tactical Boxing match but still very entertaining

i think Lennox was involved in some little classics that dont get enough credit and the Mercer fight is one i forgot about that was a little war and it was touch and go who actually won the fight Mercer gave Lewis hell that night

Yeah i think Randall would of whooped most fighters on that night

yes definetly i think it was better than Benn v Eubank 1 aswell

infact Eubank v Benn 1 is one of the most overrated fights ever IMO

Watson v Benn is up there with Eubank v Watson 2 as one of the best fights in Britain as far as im concered anyway

                      very underrated
