Matthew Saad Muhammad vs Marvin Johnson 2

Saad was in a lot of lesser known classics.

        John LoCicero vs Caveman Lee
        Mark Breland vs Aaron Davis
        Manuel Gomez vs Jeffrey Hill
        Ike Padilla vs Leland Hardy
Fidel Bassa vs Dave McAuley 1 & 2

        There are so many more.

          Somsak versus Monshippur.

Although it was a ring magazine fight of the year, not a ton of people have seen it.

          Awesome fight.

Toney-Jirov. Even talkin to other diehards I don't hear that fight get much shine. Ward-Burton (Augustus) was a 10 rd ESPN fight, but damn if it wasn't the ****. It was FOTY and had a questionable decision but I never hear it discussed much. The 1st Bell-Mormeck fight was ill too but goes overlooked. 2nd mighta matched it if Mormeck hadn't punked out on the WBC open scorin.

Toney Jirov was indeed a classic. And this was when Jirov was undefeated and in shape and there were stories they put him in a dark room with rabid german shepherds and dragged him out to sea and made him swim quite aways in.
Jirov was a killer and Toney put on a clinic. A close good fight.
                    Ward-Augustus was ridiculously good too.

Never thought Mormeck was that great myself.
