I don't think so. Clottey isn't really a bit pressure fighter and he doesn't hit that hard, he could win a decision but I doubt he stops Cotto.

styles make fights... triangle logic and boxing dont mix. Cotto's fought stronger guys than Clottey. Clottey tires out, is wide open for body shots and lets you punch first. I see another Abdullaev fight.

Clottey is more durable, but Cotto should definitely be the favorite to win this one, even if it's close and by decision.

          cotto by close desicion
i think clotttey would have too much respect for cotto and wont go for the kill
unlike margarito who just demolished cotto from round 2 clottey will take his time and set up a nice jab

Agreed, Clottey might be stronger but not sure if he'll be able to take Cotto's body punches for 12. Should be a great fight.

              right

have you forgot that cotto isn,t that same fighter that he was...now he,s a boxer...if cotto wants to win a decision over clottey then he better resort back to the fighter he once was before he got cute...

This is a fight where Cotto's excellent body work would show up because N'Dou generally gives his opponent the body. He let Judah rip off body shots without answering back, same with Gutierrez and Margarito. He is a defense/offense type of fighter who likes to let his opponent get off first before answering back. That wouldn't serve him well against a fighter as talented as Cotto.

Good fight, pretty close fight action-wise, but I think Cotto takes a clear decision. Clottey hasn't really had that statement fight which shows me he's good enough to beat a top tier Welterweight.

Thats because his strategy for that fight was to have judah tire himself out then kill him in the later rounds which he was starting to do.
